My Latest Pull List – January 15th, 2014

Six new books on my list this week.

  • ALL-NEW X-MEN #21 – The inclusion of X-23 with the original X-Men has been great. It’s tough to say whether this will be the first book I read this week or Uncanny.
  • AMAZING X-MEN #3 – It’s an X-heavy week and while I’m enjoying this series it hasn’t captured my attention like Bendis’ X-books.
  • MIRACLEMAN #1 – I’m on the fence with this reissue series but I’ll likely try the first one. I only know of this series and have never read the source material.
  • UNCANNY X-FORCE #16 – I caught up on Cable and X-Force over the holidays in anticipation of the Vendetta cross-over. Still have a few issues of Uncanny X-Force to catch up on.
  • UNCANNY X-MEN #16 – An issue focusing on Magneto. Chris Bachalo’s art may be what pushes this to the top of my list this week.
  • X-MEN LEGACY #22 – I’ve fallen many issues behind on this series. It’s probably going to be something I read in its entirety when the series wraps up in a month or two.

Weekly comic books are a big part of my life and I regularly post what I’ll be picking up each Wednesday along with cover artwork and previews courtesy of Comixology’s Pull List app

My Latest Pull List – January 8th, 2014

Six new books on my list to start the All-New Year.

  • ALL-NEW MARVEL NOW POINT ONE #1 – This anthology should be enough confirm if I’ve made the right choices about which All-New Marvel Now titles to pick up.
  • ALL-NEW X-FACTOR #1 – Perhaps the All-New title I’m most looking forward to. Peter David’s X-Factor has been a favorite for a long time.
  • AVENGERS WORLD #1 – A year ago, I’m not sure I would have believed I’d be picking up three Avengers series from Jonathan Hickman, but here I am.
  • CABLE AND X-FORCE #18 – Caught up on this series during the lighter weeks at the end of the year. Despite the Adversary coming off a bit silly, I’m enjoying this arc.
  • HALO ESCALATION #2 – Dark Horse’s Halo books have been fun so far, but the real appeal is where and how these books fit in with the games.
  • REVOLUTIONARY WAR ALPHA #1 – Andy Lanning’s take on Marvel’s UK characters is certainly worth a look and the Mark Brooks cover doesn’t hurt.
