Is Mark Henry hanging up his boots and retiring? Not at all, and he pulled off one of the most entertaining fake outs of all time last Monday on Raw. Henry only seems to be improving with age and we’re hopeful the trend continues.

Let us unleash a hearty WOO! as Monday Night Raw returns to Ric Flair Country and hits the North Charleston Coliseum in South Carolina tonight. WWE is coming off of two weeks of solid programming and a great pay-per-view with the new Payback event on the schedule. Last Monday’s show was rife with satisfying turns, twists and returns, but no wrestling program is without a few contentious moments. We’ll start with all the fun things that popped up last week and where they may lead.

Triple H wasn’t the only one confused about the ending to last week’s Raw in Kansas City. Hopefully the narrative continues with a bit more coherence tonight in Calgary.

Happy Memorial Day from MLD! A heartfelt thank you goes out to all members of the United States Armed Forces as we remember those who have fallen while serving.

This week’s Raw comes to us from the land where the main export seems to be gifted wrestlers with names like Hart, Pillman and Storm: Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It also happens to be WWE’s officially designated “Bizzaro World” where the heels rule and the good guys can’t catch a break. We’ll surely be treated to a lively crowd, as it has become an essential component to inject some life into a show that has been anything but extreme, despite last week’s show coming off the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. While there were some strong matches during last week’s broadcast, the ending segment ultimately left us puzzled, perplexed, and pondering who’s gunning for the top spots on the roster.

The Undertaker made rare appearances on both Monday Night Raw and Smackdown last week to take on the Shield in London.

Last Monday’s episode of WWE Raw was all about the Undertaker appearing on the show for the first time in three years. The show from London was headlined by Taker teaming with Kane and Daniel Bryan against the Shield in a six-man tag match. Given the momentous nature of Dead Man’s return to WWE’s flagship show, it merits a fare share of attention as we get ready for tonight’s show from Columbus, OH.

The Undertaker extended his WrestleMania undefeated streak to 21-0 against his latest challenger C.M. Punk. At the age of 48, the “dead man” was part of the match of the night at WrestleMania 29.

Last night was not the best WrestleMania is history, but not the worst. The ultimately felt unsatisfying. There’s no one thing that was missing, but this definitely wasn’t an event that felt like the culmination of the past year’s stories. Sure, Triple HHH and Brock Lesnar’s feud goes back to last Summer, and the Rock versus Cena goes all the way back to WrestleMania 27, but those were two lackluster matches on a four-hour card. The show did leave us with a lot to talk about, so in that regard it was a success.
