After a brief hiatus, MLD is now rebuilt, back up and running on a new web host. That means more updates, less downtime and most importantly fewer excuses to cover dodgy service and unsupportive technical support.

On Friday, July 1, I was lucky enough to attend the annual Wildwood Sports Cards, Comics, Beanies and Toy Convention at the Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ for the third straight year with KevinMLD. The free event is held early in the Summer Vacation season every year. With vendors selling everything from sports memorabilia to classic 1990’s comic books to random dvds to kids toys (new, used, and VERY used), there’s sure to be something for everyone.

Who is Richie James?

We have a home phone. Weird, right? It was included in the package and when you are paying $50/month for everything under sun from Verizon, you just take it. So we got a single corded phone for $14 from Best Buy and plugged it in. The phone calls we get are so odd. I forgot what telemarketers were like. Today, ptb was so amused by my side of a call he requested a transcript for MLD.  Read more of this article »

After our experiences with this show last year, I wasn’t really itching to return for this year’s Philadelphia Comic Con. In fact, I had all but forgotten about it until an opportunity presented itself for a quick trip on the last day of the show. I have to admit, attending Sunday morning was a really pleasant surprise and more than enough to merit a return in 2012.

…at the grocery store. I guess it is the best situation to be in when having to take one. It made it sort of fun. Apparently mouthwash, some breath mints, and some gum can throw it off. I feel the need to test this. If you aren’t local, you might need some back story. In Pennsylvania, the state controls your alcohol consumption cuz they are cool like that.
