For a UK show, last week’s Monday Night Raw from Liverpool lacked any real hometown favorites on the card. Punk’s match with John Cena at Money in the Bank revolved around being held in Chicago this Summer. Tonight’s Raw is in Cena’s hometown of Boston and will feature the “return” the Rock. The Rock will be his tag team partner this Sunday at Survivor Series, but his opponent at WrestleMania 28 which will be held in the Rock’s hometown of Miami. With Wade Barrett getting a lot of attention lately, I expected him to at least appear on last week’s show. In fairness, Barrett did get a huge victory over Randy Orton on the UK edition of Smackdown, but we’re here to talk about Raw, where WWE decided to push newcomer Mason Ryan of Wales instead.

Posted by under *mixed, Television | Join The Discussion |

Each day this week we’re taking a look at all of the new shows that joined the network TV lineup this Fall. Wednesday nights introduced more new shows than any other night of the week and will host the lone show that has yet to air, Jaime Presley’s I Hate My Teenage Daughter coming November 30th. We’re not waiting for that to run down what’s on Wednesdays! We’re judging a many of these shows based only on the pilot episode. While that may be unfair it should be a show’s best effort to show us what it has to offer.

Each day this week we’re taking a look at all of the new shows that joined the network TV lineup this Fall. Tuesday nights introduced two shows driven by fan favorite female leads in Zooey Deschanel’s New Girl on Fox and Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Ringer on CW. As with all of the shows featured in our Fall Preview, we’ll have our reactions to both of these new entries. We’re judging a great deal based only on the pilot episode, and while that may be unfair it should be a show’s best effort to show us what it has to offer.
